Do you have any further information on Mr. Ackerman? He seems like a very dubious character. It’s incredible that he is the CEO of a major bank. Why is that? What other murky deal is he bringing to the table? It must be huge or else he would be gone.

Working for Aquila, I obviously enjoyed your most recent article. Did you receive an Aquila proxy?

I read your January 28 article on Image Entertainment and found it interesting enough to buy a few shares. One of DISK’s largest holders must have thought it was a good buy also because they doubled thier stake. I’m going to hold on to it until it hits $4 again which I don’t think will take too long. Thanks for the article.

Sleuth, wanted to get your opinion on long pending Penn Nat’l and MGM situations. Are they both looking to fall over, or is market turmoil presenting interesting distressed situations? Thanks for your comments recently, always enjoy reading fair analysis.

We invest in similar companies and strategies. Recommend you review Asure Software. SaaS company with a market cap trading at cash. I work in the software industry and have never seen a public tech company the opportunity for a bright future trading at such distressed valuations.
Best,

I just initiated a small ($100k) position in Penn Avenue. Could you drop me a line as I have several questions before I add additional funds.
